We do not sell, rent or give any identifiable information to any 3rd party. The information you entrust us with is used to provide you with a high level of customer service and in our ongoing product development process.
You have the right to opt out of our mailing list at any time. We will not share your email address or any other identifiable information with any 3rd party.
Product registration and subscription
We collect information from you when registering a new customer instance of Coxito and when starting a subscription. We do not share this information with any 3rd party, but may occasionally publish your company name in our customer list.
Web site logging
Our web servers automatically collect information about a site user’s IP address, browser type and referrer by reading this information from the user’s browser. We collect this information and use it to compile general statistics such as how many people visit which parts of the site as well as customer-specific statistics. We do not use this information to track you personally and do not share this with any 3rd party.
Cloud service information
When creating connections between your Coxito instance and external cloud services some information is stored in our systems. This information is your property and will only be used by our software to provide you with the services offered by Coxito. Any information from the connected external cloud service is your property.
All information transferred from Coxito to you is encrypted using SSL (secure socket layer). All information transferred from your connected cloud services to Coxito is secured to the degree provided by the external cloud service, this is under the control by the external cloud service and we are not responsible for any lack of encryption by the external cloud service. We are naturally also not responsible for the privacy practices and policies of external cloud services.
When using our products and services, you will only be presented information from external cloud services which your account in that service allows you to access. The security and access settings in the external cloud service is used when determining which information to present for you. We are not responsible for any misconfiguration or bug in the external cloud service leading to you being presented information not intended for you.
We use industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging services.
If you cancel your account, all information regarding connections to external cloud services and information retrieved from these cloud services will be deleted.
Coxito uses Google Analytics, and the Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting is enabled. This is part of Google Analytics for Display Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Analytics using the Ads Settings. There is also a Google Analytics Opt-out browser addin available for all major web browsers, use this if you are concerned about being tracked by Google. Data from Google’s Interest-based advertising or 3rd party audience data (such as age, gender and interests) are used as input to refine, target and sharpen the marketing message and product portpolio of Coxito AS.
Customer support forums
Everything posted to our Customer support forums will be publicly viewable. Your IP address is automatically captured with each post, but will not be displayed.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to revise, amend, or modify this policy and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Notice of any revision, amendment, or modification of this policy will be posted on our websites, and your continued use of the Service will signify agreement to such changes.
